Any one used this site before? I'm looking to get a canopy for my pickup truck delivered from 300 miles away. The prices I've been quoted are very good and will save me renting a van and a 5 hour drive each way.

I used them a couple of weeks ago.

I was quoted £325 by a local removals company to move a piano from a ground-floor storage lockup to my ground-floor living room 4 miles away.

Put some details into AnyVan and was quoted £113 by a guy from Wolverhampton.

Accepted the quote, he got in touch, we arranged to meet at my storage lockup later that evening.

They turned up after calling me to let me know they were 20 minutes away, very friendly bunch of three guys, who lifted my piano (an antique from circa 1880, so on the heavy side!) into the back of their van as if it was made of feathers. Strapped it all in, followed me to my house where they unloaded it and plopped it in place in my lounge.

Very efficient service, and I was very pleased - especially with the £212 saving!

Had my car delivered through them- managed to get a back load from Durham to Herefordshire for £200ish. You pay a deposit through the site and a balance on delivery. Turned up on time and very helpful. Obviously it depends on the individual courier, so check the feedback first.

Used for a house move into my current house - for about £40 more than the cost of renting a van and doing the whole thing ourselves, two chaps turned up at 8am, loaded the entire house into the back of a van by 10am, and got it to the new house and unloaded (into the correct rooms and without damage) by 12 noon.

As others have said, it's largely down to the individual courier, so read reviews and see which one you think sounds best - ours wasn't the cheapest quote but had very good reviews.

Thanks for the replies. I will use the one with the best reviews.
