Is that Richard Chamberlains's orange "935" in one of the pics? That's been around for years - I remember watching it against the first of the 911 GT1s at Snetterton in about 1998 (?), British GT Championship.
Yes it was! It's a beast, 22 years in his hands and not a year gone by without development. I watched it battling an ex-works GT3 car and my jaw hit the floor. He dusted me and the 650S!

I have took a bunch of photos and a few pages of notes, so watch this space...

It wasn't the best looking car on that grid though. That'd be the Aquila

I started the video and saw the 2d dash and throttle/brake things and thought "rFactor is looking better these days" smile

Looked like a fun day-out - amazing how much full-throttle there is on that lap - it's not like Donington is the fastest racecourse imaginable!?

p.s. when they did demolish most of the bridge - where's the car which was on it - what was it for anyway? smile

Did I read the article correctly and the Melbourne loop was in play? Thought it had been abandoned.

Top read Dale, Gripped from start to finish!

The perfect result too! Who cares that Rob's times were faster than yours...you still beat him wink

Will the next N-Ring 24 hour race feature you in a 650s?

Well raced Dale and Rob. Car looked superb all weekend.
Only one Ferrari was FF Corse prepared though, the other two were prepared by G-Cat Racing with Rollcentre and G-Cats own development.

Given you got with a second or so or your pro co-driver Dale, you must have a serious amount of race experience. I won't post how much faster you were than my personal best - even though you were running with possibly twice the bhp of my Boxster.

Chris.
