What because he had a car crash, absolute nonsense, seriously why would driving like a bell end ruin his career.

Would it ruin it if he ploughed into a field in Wales in the same car?

This.

Those videos will be ALL OVER the internet and social media.

He's fooked, especially in light of the fact that as someone who is likely to be continuously positively vetted by the security services he won't be able to hide this. MI5 know if he farts, let alone gets involved in this sort of cockery.

Exactly this.

It's a well known fact that 2:2 are a bunch of "live fast die young" loonies, but they tend to get their adrenaline fixes away from the great unwashed.

Graduated @ 22... mmm not so sure. Fast jet training is the best part of 2.5 years with IOC.

Egg whisk is 2 years.

Either way its not good.

Just re-watched both videos - just 2 questions for anyone who was there - were the police allowing this to take place? And were the roads open to the public at the time? If they were open and the police did nothing then in itself it's pretty shameful.

Its not fast jet its the cargo planes and stuff (not very technical when it comes to planes) he might be 23/24 I know his GF a lot better than him and just assumed they were the same age...

But anyway I have said too much already!

I've no idea if it'd 'ruin' his car or anything. A welsh road and a crowded urban environment at a low-speed is ridiculous.

Far worse- why would a 22yr old buy a 5seater?!!!
Because 44% off can run it for a 2 years and sell it at a minimal loss

Well he could of before it was a CAT D anyway...

Are cars like that difficult to handle or is that just a lack of experience of RWD and 500 plus bhp on bone dry tarmac ? both seemed to snap back the other way.

Ok, the correct answer is don't do it in the first place but assuming that you are doing that same thing, in the same circumstance, how would he have avoided that, less throttle, keeping his foot down ?

It seemed to change gear, would that have been a manual shift or the box doing it itself ? am guessing he would have turned the ESP off ? would have thought the Merc, even with it on would allow a bit of slip ?

I really didn't like the way the plates were removed of the Merc, went from being an honest accident whilst pratting about to something more sinister, that is quite devious, someone who does that would probably quite happily wreck your car or leave you on the floor injured as long as they can get away.
When your culture is all about appearance and 'face', and you do anything to appear better than you are, then being found out and exposed is the ultimate disgrace.

Owning a desirable car marks you out as wealthy. Driving it skillfully and handling the power well clearly speaks of your manliness. Great!

Sadly, crashing it because you rapidly ran out of talent at 20mph doesn't look so good. And the numberplate makes you recognisable and identifiable, and also identifies the car as a rental. You'll therefore remove this identifier as quickly as possible, which is exactly what happened here.

Does anyone know what company the C63 was rented from?

Its got to be a easy £10k excess I would assume even if the insurance does pay out?

Just a guess but I expect both drivers will end up in court with the video being shown to the mags.
I doubt they would get a ban but I expect both would get a CD30 and that comes with a boat load of points (up to 9)
