This weighs how much!?

Wasn't the Astra (H) VXR about 1400-1500kg???

How does this weigh near enough the same...

The 500 weights 1135kg according to Autocar.

They're not even in the same league as far as I'm concerned.

Even the Polo GTI weighs 1184kg...

Something wrong with Vauxhall!

Disregard my last, this weighs about the same as the competition!!

Phew, was going mad for a second 'DARN FUTURE HEAVY'.

Now, genuinely looking forward to comparison reviews!

Could anyone really be happy driving a car called Adam?

I'm impressed.

They've actually managed to make it look even more stupid.
I think it looks better than the Abarth.

But it's warm hatch at best with those figures.
I'd pick the Abarth over this, and how long has that been around now?

But cider swigging, know nothing 20 somethings will love it because they'll think it sporty, am I right or am I right.

They make quite a good tarmac rally car in Europe. (running to R2 regs)

I like it, it looks good IMO. And I think it will sell well.

Not sure why PH would compare it to a Polo? That competes with the Corsa in the class above?
I've hardly seen any about, does anyone know how well they've sold?

Considering how many you see on the roads, I'm not sure the name really matters too much.

Well, it's better than Cedric.

My son's girlfriend drives an Adam, it's a very smart little car (imo), performance isn't going to set the world alight but on looks alone it's a hoot.

About 23k according to howmanyleft.co.uk

I see quite a few of these around considering they've only been on sale for a couple of years. They're usually driven by young girls, much the same as most of the Fiat 500s and other super-tiny-minis on the roads.

Volvo driving, brown corduroy-wearing middle-aged men who spend their evenings arguing with each other on motoring forums are not the target market for this type of car wink

Awful name, but it's not alone... Twingo and Up just as bad.
VW's up! came from the same naming convention that was supposed to apply to the new Scirocco. The concept was called the Iroc, being the middle part of Sc[Iroc]co, but they ended up ditching the idea. The did apply it to the new small car though, being the middle part of L[up]o.

And yet, I imagine that if certain other manufacturers brought this out, some PH'ers would need a windscreen wiper on their computer screen.

As for those slagging-off the Corsa VXR (especially the Nurburgring); drive one. It's brilliant...and that's coming from someone with a Mini JCW. wink

Nearly £15k? So it's one of these or a 12month old Fiesta ST...I know where my money would go.

Wow it lasted 3 pages before a New car OTR Price was compared to a Used Non-competitor

Probably helps with the "sporty" look. I don't think it's that bad.
