I'm looking for a LWB high-top van (Sprinter, Transit etc) that can tow a 2t trailer. I'm struggling to find the towing weights of older vans (circa 2000ish) online - anyone got the info to hand?

You need to consider the train weights and the gross weight the difference is generally the towing weight..should be a plate with these on the van maybe inside the door or under bonnet hope this helps..

Just so you don't get caught out remember if it is for commercial use you'll need to consult the tachograph regs if your train weight exceeds 3.5 tons, which with the vans you are looking at it will.

It won't be for commercial use.
