The Garden of Wraith: Time For (evening) Tea?

TaxTheRich returns, this time with a Rolls-Royce and a big field. You can guess the rest

It's been a little while since we've seen anything from TaxTheRich, the YouTube channel (in)famous for doing rather inappropriate things with very expensive cars. See the Ferrari F50 tug of war for example.

This latest production is remarkably similar to one of TTR's early efforts. Like the Phantom video it features a Rolls-Royce (now a Wraith), a big field and some huge powerslides. Plus some gratuitous slo-mo of course, which every good sideways video needs.

You will all have your opinions on whether this is genius or lunacy. That's what a forum is there for after all! PH is here to bring it to your attention. Approve or abhor at your leisure.

Watch the video here.

What a completely inappropriate, irreverent thing to do, both with a Rolls Royce and a classic English stately home garden. Love it.

I saw a Wraith on the road for the first time last week. It certainly has presence.

Their production values seem to improve with each video.

Love the car, the video and the fun this video suggests. I think it is a good advert for the car...

Lottery Win time that would be me, in that car on my estate. Love It!

I know wet grass and gravel is easy to slide on but it was very neat and tidy.

What is the story with this Guy, is he the owner of car and houses etc?.....

signs I/you are getting old...........thoughts were
"ooo what a lovely garden" and "if they are so rich, why don't they use round bales."

Yawn. The sons of the crooked estate agent are at it again: look at how rich we are, look at how big our dad's house is - and he's sooo rich he doesn't give two Fs if we knacker the Roller's suspension and paintwork, etc.

No doubt, if they bought a Picasso they'd video it being used as a trestle table or something equally wild, whacky and out there.

Gosh, what a crazy bunch of guys sleep

I believe it is the sons of the chap who started and sold Foxton's estate agents, can't remember the details but I think he sold it for a few hundred million.

Absolutely brilliant. If anyone doesn't know the story behind these guys (it was in TopGear magazine a few issues ago) it's worth a look- I would post the issue number but the upstairs toilet seems quite far away after a bottle of cider. Maybe one more and I'll need to go up anyway lol

This will do for now: http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/Top-Gear-meets-Ta...

I did something like that at in a field at "I can't believe it's not Pistonfest" many years ago in my Bentley. Unfortunately I slid into a rut backwards and shortened the o's wheelbase by about 2". Arsing about can be great fun, but mistakes can be expensive biggrin

That looks lovely in a black paint job, hides the grille well.

No matter how badly your day is going, you can always console yourself that you aren't in a pub sharing a beer with these guys.

Yeah, I just don't really get. I know there doesn't have to be a "why"... but why?!

I used to do something very similar in a Fiat 127 in the mid 80's, when I was a teenager. Even a front wheel drive car will drift forever on grass given enough room. Sadly no youtube then...

The Wraith was lent to them for the video.

By Rolls-Royce themselves, apparently.

Really?

All they've done is been born into a rich family and now make vulgar videos to show it off.

I enjoyed the video - but being disrespectful to something you haven't earned isn't cool in my book - regardless of if Daddy has said it's OK.

I like these videos.

A bit of fun with a bit of money! Exactly what Pistonheads is all about.
