I've never seen any more 'abuse' of a car in their videos than you would see if they'd taken it round a race track - the only abuse is to the grass! One of his sons is a professional racing driver so it's not exactly amateurs at work.

You do all know that it isn't Harry Hunt and his brother doing these videos?

It cant be them, because they put a statement out online at some point denying it was them, and if its on the internet then its true!! They just film at John Hunts estate. But they have absolutely nothing to do with it otherwise, nope, nothing at all. winkbiggrin

Drifting on grass is no more abusive than washing the thing. Ok so the gravel might take the odd nick out of the tyres but they're tyres, it doesn't matter, they're replaced every year anyway.

I think it's a fantastic thing to have done - to have the audacity to drift a roller and post it in the internet is so cheeky it's cool.

Like most others on here, given the opportunity, I'd do excatly the same. We all would so if you don't have the opportunity, don't be jealous of those who do.

Oh, and if you can afford it, don't cry because you didn't think of it first.

Spent a week in Suffolk earlier this year, about a mile from Heveningham Hall where the videos are shot.

Never saw anything remotely interesting on the drive or leaving/entering. I wonder, have they actually ever stuffed anything?

Looks great fun, always look forward to these videos.

Now if I could only gather up the massive kahuna's required to do the same in my car.

I'd be an internet millionaire!

Nice to see a bunch of guys actually enjoying and doing what they like with their cars, far too many people are afraid to have fun because of the reaction they'll get from others (*cough* comments on here... *cough*)

There are a lot of very un-pistonhead comments here....'oh no don't drive nice cars fast...' 'oh they have money, fun is banned for them...'. Seriously?! Also if those people read the link to topgear website on the first page it tells you that the cars are all borrowed from rich friends/rolls royce. Even if they were their own cars, it seems some people on here would rather have them sat in a garage being kept all nice and warm and being driven in a sensible manner, and they really should keep their money to themselves and not share the fun.

Maybe a new forum should be created for those not interested in nice cars being driven quickly. Mumsnet maybe.

Hardly amazing. No special driving or anything remotely "oh wow".

Going sideways in an open field... hmm. The XJ220 / Enzo ones were better.

Looks like 2 different cars were used as well, not hugely relevant but the one with the darker grill looks a lot nicer in my opinion.
Good spot....lends credence to the fact that these aren't there cars.

I found the video fun

I laughed at the manner in which the driver "climbed" into the car like he was getting into some huge off-roader

if I was rich I'd do the same thing, buy or borrow really expensive cars and thrash them around my garden for a laugh. Because I'd be rich.

Wouldn't it be more fun in something like an Evo FQ 400?

Love this.

Amazing the amount of green eyed buffoons that come out. Who cares how they got the money.

It's only a car and they are having a good laugh and making entertaining vids.

Get over it.

Btw, the dad made £300m selling Foxtons.....but.....it's now worth a cool billion !! Amazing really
I think the reason that Foxtons are a bunch of shyster bds is reason enough to care.

I'm sure if it was Chris Harris driving this thing most of you nay-sayers would be on your knees with mouths at the ready rolleyes

You are a fickle bunch
