The Aventador is not a car I would buy, but I think it has more street presence than almost any car ever built.

Of course any supercar is going to make average mainstream cars look a bit dull but the F Type coupe for me is the best looking car on sale. Gun metal grey with yellow calipers please smile thank youpp

Another vote for the F Type Coupe here. I think it looks magnificent. Second place goes to the Mclaren P1 for me. I think that's a great looking car.

If you really want one I'd advise leasing and let someone else swallow the horrendous depreciation.
How does that work then?

Standard answer from previous postings, but the F-Type Coupe really is something special.

Not really into new cars, but saw a couple of BMW i8s over the weekend and have to say how good they look.

First one was going in the opposite direction and as I was a passenger got to turn and have a better look. The second one pulled out of my road as I was walking back form the shop and my jaw dropped looking at it. hehe

Also the F Type Coupe is pretty damn lovely. smile

Interesting that you post that because most people on Pistonheads just think they all look like a DB9.

Ferrari F12 has got to be in with a shout...

For more everyday cars, I'd also say the new Mazda 6 - a very handsome machine in my eyes.

I much prefer the Alfa Romeo 8C to that but then I'm not much of a fan of Ferraris. I don't think the "wide mouthed frog" look does anything for them.

Early Coupe was ok but the roadsters were always gawky with their narrow track, overhanging wheels arches and phallic nose. Now if you'd have said the XK140 it would have been a different kettle of fish!

Also that's a 2008 model, so it's not a new car on sale today.
Your 2014 Elise looks like this:

(Which is okay IMO, but doesn't compete with others mentioned here)

Another vote here for the F-type coupe. Gorgeous from all angles, and especially nice in recession white.
