DIP YOUR fkING HEADLIGHTS!!!! furiousfuriousfurious I can see you perfectly well on dipped beam. rolleyesrolleyes There is no need to go around blinding all and sundry on main beam. And don't come up with the fking excuse that it's to make you more easily seem. Suppose every fking car driver did the same for the same fking reason? I suppose it would save the motoring industry millions in not having to provide dip switches. In fact, I'm terrified in case my car is not visible enough. I'm going to fit 4 Super Oscars and drive around with them on all the fking time as well as main beam! madmadmad

As a motorcyclist I can assure the OP that the vast majority of bikers feel the same way about the selfish fkwits in our midst that do this. Selfish nobheads.

If someone else has full beam on, I put mine on. Seems fair.

This.

Although, not limited to bikers, there are a few car-driving fkwits that do it (plus fog lights for added effect).

Of course, if the bike is accelerating towards you it might be on dipped lights but look like it's on full beam.

You might be better posting this in biker banter, we love these posts, because we are responsible for all motorcyclists ever. We will pass on the message via our secret language of nodding.

So rather than one blinded driver theres now 2 blinded drivers driving at each other...

It is very annoying though.

It's worse when in traffic and they're coming up behind you-its impossible to judge where they are because as soon as you look in the mirror you get arc-eye!

They aren't going to know how annoying they are unless someone demonstrates.

Matchmaker - I've been riding motorcycles for 11 years now.

and I completly fking agree with you. When I'm filtering and I check my mirrors and I'm being followed by some pratt on another bike with his high beams on, it blinds me. When a pratt with his high beams on is coming the other way, it blinds me.

I can fully rationalise that if I'm being blinded, everyone else around me is. And the thing is, the prat on two wheels with his high beams on means he makes it difficult for people to see other motorcyclists, and indeed other road users, around them.

So you prats with your high beams on, stop endangering me out of your own selfishness.

Only the odd retard will put on their full beam.

If you do it just means the driver can't see you at all.

I was out the other day on the bike when the 'Lampe' light came on. A quick check revealed that the headlight was out it was only running on the 'side' light, not much more than a glimmer. I switched to main beam until I found a bike shop later that day and bought a new bulb. Sorry if i upset you.
