What would fit nicely in to this model of TT's exhaust?

It needs to be perfect, with no room for error. The potato option offers too many variables.
You get sweet potato zilla's, which must have a circumference similar to a grapefruit, if that's too small then your on your own, If its a bit big it will squash in with a good thump, then it will be sealed tight.phil1979 said:

I usually use expanding foam, no need to match to the pipe diameter you see.
I don't want to cause any lasting damage; just something 'harmless' to make a very selfish person think twice before potentially looking quite foolish.ikarl said:
WTF??
How about leaving the car alone? What if you damage the car?
If you want to make a point, leave a note
A note will not work, judging by the disdain that this pinched-nosed 'super estate agent' shows other road users when he blocks the approach to the town's main crossroads so that he can save 2 minutes by parking bang outside the sandwich shop. How about leaving the car alone? He actually gave a gallic shrug to the lorry driver that had the temerity to beep him today. The lorry driver was blocked by Mr TT's boneheadedness, and had to wait for TT man to receive his skinny latte before carrying on his journey.
There is a massive car park 50 meters from the shop in question.
Edit: He also wears a quilted jacket, which itself is not so much of an issue. However, leaving the collar turned up so as to reveal the Burberry-check lining for all to admire just irks me over the edge.

Once you have your candidates, you'll need to make sure, so why not pop by your local Audi garage to see which ones will fit. They may also be able to suggest something appropriate.
Obviously you could try it out on the car in question however if nothing fits you will stand a chance of being caught before exacting yourrevenge plan.

You won't stop a guy acting like a selfish tt by acting like a tt yourself!
This sort of behaviour really gets on my nerves, it is not the car's fault it's owner is a dick, if you damage the car rather than dealing with the owner you are a first rate tt who deserves far worse than the guy who parks inconveniently.

I wouldn't dream of damaging the car, hence I was looking for a 'safe' solution to create some embarrassment. I've stalled my own car by blocking the exhaust with my hand (many moons ago, although I can't remember why I had to do it now), and wasn't aware it would cause any damage.
I am happy to be proved wrong, of course.

Pay a 10 year old girl to kick the owner in the balls, so that he spills his Latte on himself? I've stalled my own car by blocking the exhaust with my hand (many moons ago, although I can't remember why I had to do it now), and wasn't aware it would cause any damage.

Plenty embarrassing for him, and the poor car gets left alone.

To be honest ANY tampering of another person's car is bang out of order as far as I'm concerned. I've stalled my own car by blocking the exhaust with my hand (many moons ago, although I can't remember why I had to do it now), and wasn't aware it would cause any damage.

Yes you are right that you cover the exhaust with your hand or a rag for a few seconds to highlight a leak that won't do any harm, you may notice the engine idle drop a bit as the engine struggles but returns to normal when you remove the blockage.
Completely blocking the exhaust for anything more than a few seconds will start to create bigger problems. I'd imagine very few engines would be happy running for more than a few minutes with a blocked exhaust before the pressure/heat starts to build up substantially.
