That's a new Detomaso Pantera. Not a bad thing at all.
Lovely looking thing and yes I was thinking Detomaso Pantera looking at it.

Looks designed by a committee......nothing goes with anything!
This. And the name makes it sound like a shopping centre.

I see Miura, Pantera and Stratos in there. Which makes it instantly and effortlessly cool. Fantastic design, it makes the competition look rather silly. I'll have one in black please.

I think it's lovely, but I'm not so keen on the rear window - it looks like a cat flap.

I noticed someone said 'new DeTomaso Pantera', that's exactly what this is. I've always loved the Pantera and a year or so ago I started floating around some ideas with the Pantera community for a new production version and what it might look like. My concept render ended up looking like this below. If you remove the headlights from the Asterion there is a lot in common.

That's the answer! Give the Asterion pop-up headlamps and then it WILL be amazing!

Nice looks, rubbish name. Design is a bit 'safe' for Lamborghini standards.
A Lambo for the grown ups?

Yep, that's exactly what I saw too. Awesome!
Yup - I like that a lot.

i think it's beautiful. A welcome departure from the sheik-fodder trafford centre car park stuff they normally knock out (although I concede I do actually like those too, in normal guise). Let's not forget Lambo have actually made beautiful cars in the past, it's not a given that the entire range has to be mentile.

Also Winkelmann is a stylish fker... i've got to say heading up an Italian car company, dream job eh PH?

No thanks, while on hand it simply doesn't look like a Lambo which isn't a *bad* thing IMHO it's simply quite ugly. It's specs are in nomans land as well, have seen press trying to put it into P1 category but that's blatantly nonsense.

All in all, meh with a side helping of slight disappointment.

In addition, I'm of the opinion that Lambo's best looking designs (apart from the Miura) were their GT cars, the 350 and 400GT, Islero, and Espada.

The rear 3/4 view is stunning, the rest of it just looks a little bland and entirely not very Lamborghini. But 910 bhp sounds fun

Yep, it looks cool but according to Exclamation Mark Central, aka Auto Express: "The seven-speed dual clutch gearbox is placed underneath the engine, freeing up space ... to house the ... battery pack."

Hmm, with the 'box underneath the V10, won't that mean a relatively high centre-of-gravity, which'll not be good for handling?
The Muira's gearbox was underneath the V12. Lambo at the time weren't shy in admitting they nicked the idea from Issigonis and the Mini.

I wondered what it was I could see in it, fabulous looking thing. Love it!

If you've got a few quid and don't mind spending it there so much tasty metal to choose from at the moment.

I was going to ask someone to photoshop the lights out - looks amazing. No pop-ups, just tuck them under the overhang like a Mangusta.

Egads! It looks like a pre-facelift Gallardo tried to eat a Panamera! That's not exactly what I had in-mind! (Guessing that's supposed to be a modern take on the Espada.)

Sorry, I'll take the original, in this exact color:

I think only the Aston Lagonda does a proper job when it comes to 4-seater GT. Maserati has no proper backseat legroom, inspite its bigness.

Lambo, check your heritage and sketch us a 2016 Espada!
