It's that time of year again and I need the Focus ST serviced and MOT'd. Don't fancy paying Ford's price (260 quid) so i was wondering if anyone knows of any good garages in the north east that I can take a modified car to who will do a good job at a good price and not rag my car around when I'm not there.

Have a look at someone like National Tyres. Not all their depots do MOT's but find the closest that does and book the service and MOT for the same time.
Their servicing costs are usually cheaper than you could buy the oil for and an MOT, is an MOT, is an MOT and they usually charge about £30.
My X5 needed an oil change and MOT in March and both were done at my local NT for £103. You can watch them do the oil change if you're worried they are a bunch of monkey's. My guys were fine and very thorough.
