Being driven mad trying to find tyres

Because of it's weight, will it need specialist tyres with reinforced sidewalls? Even vans need these and they shouldn't run on car tyres.
Hope this doesn't further complicate things!
It should be ok with normal ones, as it has 4 tyres at the back so each tyre is only taking about 1/8 of the weight, about the same load as a car tyre.Hope this doesn't further complicate things!
The front tyres were indeed replaced with the proper special heavy-duty tyres (about 20 ply!)

How far from Skem are you? I noticed your profile said Liverpool/Cheshire...
Carrylift Material Handling are a forklift dealers in West Pimbo (Nissan main dealer in fact) but they also do loads of other stuff including older stuff, so have loads of spares, including old scrappers. May be worth contacting their service department? I have a mate who works there so I could ask him for you if you wanted. Also FMC forklifts in Stockport may have stuff like this.
Would it be feasible to convert the twin wheels to larger/wider singles? Just a thought... Is it a Trachma by the way? Used to see a lot of them in Toulouse where they were used for towing aircraft parts about. In fact we developed a training course for them
Hi, thanks for the recommendations, I'll check them out! I've also had one of the rear rims off today, turns out they are not split so solid tyres wouldnt work. A super-single tyre is an interesting idea, but it would mean finding a tyre with double the normal weight rating, plus banding together the 2 rims and their spacer to make one super-wide rim!Carrylift Material Handling are a forklift dealers in West Pimbo (Nissan main dealer in fact) but they also do loads of other stuff including older stuff, so have loads of spares, including old scrappers. If your mate could have a look for some structurally sound but worn-bald tyres in the right size, that would be grand
She is not a Trachma, IIRC she is a Clark "Clarktor" aircraft tug and bomb trolley tractor, built in 1943 for the US Air Force. 4.5 litre GM straight six petrol with a pretty straight-through exhaust
