It has to be said they, they clearly know their market if they've found ten people who will pay that much for it. smile

If I could afford one I think I would want a roof that worked at more than 75mph!

Better ways to spend my fantasy £1.56m me thinks

300k for brake caliper paint? Really?
For any fellow PHers that are considering it as a factory option, I'll paint them any colour you like for £280k. Just let me know.

I'd consider myself to have some taste, I really really like it. Even at Supercar manufacturers there are now two levels. Those who can afford a relatively basic Ferrari and those who can affored a bespoke edition. In relation to the price, I've no doubt they are all already sold, so,obviously they aren't too dear !!

Terrible isn't it... how people don't praise an ugly, overpriced car simply because it has a Ferrari badge on the nose. hehe
What a load of miserable tosh.

It's not overpriced. And it's a factory coach-built style car (no idea how they actually produce it). If a car isn't mass-produced, how do you think it's possible to keep the price down? You're paying for peoples time, as ever. Plus if they've all sold, how can it be too expensive?

Tasteless sells. Whether PHers like it or not we are in the minority.

So how many person hours do you think it takes to produce each one? And how much do you think the average Ferrari factory worker is paid?

I do actually agree that it's clearly not too expensive, though - by definition if they can sell the number they want to, it's not too expensive for the market. I can certainly see no rational reason for the price, but I suppose that doesn't matter in the slightest.

Didn't one of their recent models come with the simplest most practical and easy to use convertible tops ever made ? A carbon fibre top, pivoted, and simply swung back into the contours of the rear, and swung back again to close. Guess even at this level they're now cutting corners with their ''Bit of flimsy fabric'' ?!!

Wasn't the Superamerica's roof design pinched from an Alfa Romeo concept? Nice idea though and extremely well executed on the Ferrari; slightly less well on the Renault Wind. hehe

Ferrari have a problem - their cars have been 'fast enough' for the last decade. And they are getting uglier. What is the point of them!?

Ask the ten people who've just forked out more than most people earn in five years to buy one. Clearly Ferrari continue to appeal to their target demographic. smile

I think that looks fantastic. Not sure I could live with red drivers seat and black passenger seat mind you. All red fine.

However is it just me that's seeing a bit of Stingray in it? That's not to say I don't like it - I do, but was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it.

Must be awesome to behold, own and drive (although I'd prefer the interior to be different colours).

The negative comments here seem to be coming from those who will never be able to afford one....

I think an 599 Aperta sold for circa £750 recently. Not sure how much they were going for new but its an awesome looking thing especially in the flesh and will definitely appreciate in value. These will definitely gain in value too. Can't believe some people here need this to be explained to them. Perhaps they need to go back to playing on their PS4s...
Another +1 from me. Doesn't seem like I'm on Pistonheads.. We live in a world where electric, rc-cars are now out and about on the roads, where engines are now adopting turbos on mass and losing sound as a result yet everybody is for some reason attacking a limited run, front-engined V12 convertible.. What has Pistonheads become? Maybe if it had a Nissan or Mclaren badge on the front the children with their PS4's would approve....

Actually, it's a bright red composite half interior.
Whatever it's made of, it looks really tacky. But as other posters have said, Ferrari have sold them all, so what do I know...

For much less than this, you could get an E30 M3 with period race history.
