That's a shame. I hated mine, and was the reason I sold it.
The box in the 535d is excellent - it is ZF's 8 speed auto. I have it in my F10 530d and it's an absolutely brilliant gearbox.

I have the ZF 8 speed in the X6, it's the best auto I've used.
I like it so much that I'm being put off cars without it!

DCT is reserved for the M cars.
Not always.

The E92 and E93 335i and E82 135i were available with the DCT. Think there have been a few other models within the BMW range that have been offered with the DCT as an option also.

This thread reminds me of when i was at school and we used to laugh at the girl who used to need special tablets for her breath and used to lie about being in films etc. i feel a bit bad about it now as she grew up to be an actual fat clown.
WB seems to be made of stern stuff though so i'm sure he'll be fine or maybe he'll do the internet equivalent of shooting up his school

Well if you have been in cars that barely do >20mpg for years MPG will excite you...

maybe a while anyway :P

Any link to the Reader's Car thread? Interested to know more especially about the interior.
I'm going to post that up in a few weeks with lots of pics and hopefully a trip to the Lake District for good pics a proper ownership review.

I'm loving it just want to keep going out for drives its also not just the drive its the interior is really lovely a great place to spend hours commuting.

So which BMW dealership now has your RS6 please?

And did you say they gave you £8000 for it as a part ex?

The real question is, out of 18,000 posts, how many are actually true.

£6275 according to WB's garage record. That'd be a cheap RS6!

Some say he was mates with 300bhp/ton.....apparantly welshy used to go to see him at his house at weekends, they were special friends and enjoyed each other fantastic stories. Sometimes though welshy would be too tired to drive home and have to stay at 300's house, but always in the spare room. Sometimes he got thirsty in the night and accidentally went into 300's bedroom thinking it was the bathroom, or so he told people..

This is bizare. Not a few days ago a panic thread about how quickly the tyres were being eaten and then it's sold....

Nothing if not consistent.

You can guess someone is checking as you can see the registration.

Didn't say anything about who where or how much I sold it for - but it wasn't to the BMW garage I bought my car from.

I actually sold it back to the same garage I bought it from in the first instance - and I've just checked its not showing on their website as yet.

Quite concerning really not sure anyone online wants people to start trying to find their address...

It is but that's what happens when you sell a car back to the trade rather than sell privately - in this instance I had a dead drop part x value from BMW so anything above that happy days.
