So you pay neigh on £2m on car rental? ...(obviously including team support, logistics etc) Naa there must be more to it than that, what do they do with the car once its finished with the races? Surely then you get to keep it!?
If I owned a 'regular' P1, I'd just pay McLaren to make my car look like the GTR,
Dont be surprised if this very thing happen's soon.;) MSO will do anything as long as you pay them enough

If I'm going to ONLY drive on a track, then I'll buy an ex F1 car. Or maybe 3 for nearly £2m. And I won't have to be on the Mr. R. Dennis invitation list. And in about 6 months time, some kit car replica will appear for a couple of grand......!!!!

So the F1 GTR was built for racing and raced, this one is built for.......very wealthy to dick about in trackdays and feel like racing drivers. How times have changed.
The car looks and sounds amazing. Likely quite quick as well.

interested to know if any will actually be raced.

somehow this seems a much better than the FXX - but I don't know why that is.. perhaps because they've started with a hypercar rather than a GT
Since when has an Enzo been a GT?

What would it take to make it road legal? One can dream, right?

I'm amazed by how much these track specials cost, they sell like hot cakes too.
In some countries (eg China, Singapore, etc) the GTR is 'cheaper' than the road P1 as the duty on the regular road car is about 200%, compared to nothing for the track only GTR.
