Bear with me.....

It's a company car choice. So there is something like £80 per month difference

I'd have the Prius, far more interesting.

If the Prius is cheaper, I would take it. A very smooth, quiet car. Plenty of punch off the line, will cruise well into 3 figures happily, and at the end of the day, its the company car tax you'll get the best benefit from too. Toys are plentiful too

Do you need a big car or a medium sized one?

How many miles do you do a year, do you get fuel paid for, etc...

What a dreadful choice, could you find a new job?

It's a current model Passat.

It's also only for 6 months, so it's not like I am stuck with it for a long period of time.

I'm also thinking to spend the savings in car tax on the TVR.

I don't need a big car, and I'll probably only do 10,000 miles in the 6 months.

In that case I would go with the Prius just because its 'different'.

For a company car driver it will. CO2 and Euro6 compliant engines will make £'s difference.

Also has anyone driven the New Passat, or seen one in the flesh? The reviews are good and while it may be perceived as dull, if it is your only car it will cover a lot more basis day to day than a Prius.

So I would say Current Passat, get the Prius. New Passat get the Passat.

Why? It is boring car with stty autobox for heavy traffic driving.
