Any Daf is the same as a car to start.
Check your oil and water beforehand and away you go.
This is assuming you are talking about a commercial vehicle.

Check all your fluid levels, throw ina couple of gallons of fresh fuel, make sure the battery has a nice full charge and give it a go!

The handbrake might be stuck on, a few blows to the rear wheels with a big hammer should sort that out. The clutch may also be reluctant to disengage, and the near side front caliper has a tendency to stick on these as well.

It might be a good idea to have the radiator flushed, they are prone to blocking up.

Horrible vans, we had six at work.

It's Leyland DAF. Named after a st town in the NW of England where it rains all the time. smile

Good luck starting the fker! My advice would be some fresh fuel, check all the fluid levels, make sure you pump the tyres up and actually drive it for a while.

To be fair anywhere in the vehicle would be appropriate. If it was mine I'd get one of those bumper dumpers and then share the joy with the people who live in the rich part of town.

Living in a 1992 Daf van for a year sounds like purgatory to me. Just wondering how OP prevents it getting even more st.
