Hi, I'm looking for some help.

I have picked up a puncture on one of the rear tyres of my car and due to it being right on the corner, repair isn't an option. The tyre in question is a Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 265/35R18 and has about 5-6mm of tread remaining so was looking at just replacing it.

The problem is no one seems to sell this tyre in this size and the widest now being for an 18 is 255. I don't really want to replace both rear tyres for the 255s as the other still has so much tread left but I'm struggling to find a 265.

Does anyone know who may have one, I'm not to fussed if its fully fitted or mail ordered which I can then get replaced at a local garage.

Cheers for your help

Hi Kamilb, cheers for looking but have already tried them. They have no stock and can't say when and if they are getting anymore in.

Have you tried Camskill http://www.camskill.co.uk/
or
mytyres http://www.mytyres.co.uk/

i Have got my Vredestiens (i have used them for years)from both companies and not had any problems and they both sell at very good prices.

You're right they are really good, and real good value for money. Which is a bonus.

Sadly MyTyres also dont stock this size.

Cheers Dumbo, they could be a good shout. I live in North Ayrshire so Glasgow isn't a million miles away.

Vredestein seem to have discontinued it, so you're looking for old stock.

Vredstein are starting to push the Vorti which I think is the spiritual successor. You can get that tyre in the right size but then you are mixing on an axle and thats not wise and why you asked the question in the first place.

I've found some in Poland - probably not much good to you, though!

I've used clickontyres in the past for vredestein. They actually reply to emails pretty quickly unlike a lot of companies.
