Sorn stuff

The mx5 was sorned last year valid until 30th September 2014.

I normally do it when I receive the reminder letter. No letter this year. I realise it's over 2 weeks since it should be sorned.

Try to do so online with the v5. Says I can't do it online unrecognised number or something.

I read just now that they've changed the requirements and that the sorn is now continuous. Is that correct and why I received no reminder this year?

I read it on Mse forum. The DVla website isn't particularly clear. Particularly as to whether a previous sorn you made is valid for it to now be continuous.

I'm not sure how much clearer you want it to be. Do a query on a SORNed vehicle. Look at the expiry date of the SORN. Oh, wait. There isn't one...
