Garage flooring - Dynotile or similar...

Try these chaps:

Website has a Design Tool so you can work out the amount you need with costings.
Did my double garage for around £800
Great quality, simple to fit (although the skirting can be a little fiddly) and top people to deal with

I used to have very similar tiles in my garage, they were down about 5 or 6 years and were pretty good but over time dirt and in particular sawdust from a DIY job in did in there got down between the tiles and forced the gaps wider so eventually the tiles lifted from the floor and I had larger areas of floating tiles or lumps where it looked like a dead body had been placed
As for water its not a problem although it may be if it was on wood but I cant imagine a wooden garage floor.
I've currently taken mine up and epoxied the floor and prefer the look and with a kneeling mat its just as nice to work in but its very slippery when wet

Thanks for the link Overhaul. Their website doesn't mention what to do with spillages or water dripping off a wet car though. When I looked into this before the prep and under layers got quite complicated. Do you know anything about that by any chance?
You're welcome It's really just a something you have to live with. Having said that the joins between the tyles are pretty snug, so it would have to be a serios dowsing to cause any trouble.
However I didn't bother with under lay for that reason.
I simply used a good coating of "concrete sealer" on the floor first, then layed the tiles directly on top.
I do clean the floor with mop and bucket and had no damp problem effects.
Mind you, I have just given it a go over with one of those "Morphy Richards Steam Cleaner" thingies. Cleans it up a treat
While not a premium package, have a look at the Rolson tiles Halfords sell. £10 for a pack of six.
They are a dense foam material, pretty resilient and thick.
I've bought several packs (they can be cheaper on eBay) and floored half the garage with them. They hold up well, are waterproof and easily cleaned.
Quite nice to lye on when working on the car too .

Yeah, had those in my last house. They're ok, but I'm wanting something a bit nicer now we are in our forever home. They are a dense foam material, pretty resilient and thick.

Oh, I'd forgotten this thread. I ended up going for these:

Thus far, happy with them. They lock together very firmly and the joints seem completely waterproof. They will happily cope with axle stands on either car or a trolley jack on the Lotus, but the trolley jack lifting the Skoda will mark them slightly so I use a piece of ply to protect them. They're plain black so don't look particularly interesting but the my garage doubles up as a photographic studio so the last thing I wanted was weird reflections off the floor.
I think they're identical to these: http://mototile.com/interlocking-tiles-500mm.html they certainly look the same.
