Looking at the pics, one car and two number plates. Do they rotate at the press of a button (hidden under the headlight switch)?

Such is the draw of Landies. They are not for everyone, including me, but those who do love them will have nothing else, and will happily spend vast sums to get the exact spec they want, but then that is part of the draw of them, being able to get exactly what you want.
Indeed... the Defender is a blank canvas.

Make it into whatever you want.

If I had the money I'd love to own one of these, but it begs the question as to what I'd actually do with it.

It seems to be a Defender which is better in many ways than my old 300 TDI, but none of them are things I would want from a Defender.

Things like speed, handling, comfort.

If you want those things, a Defender just isn't the place to start.

Meh... I've gave my two cents on Twisteds offering on the previous threads so I'll just add that "TW14TED" sums this up pretty well.

Oh and this is gold:

"I think my view of the Defender was cemented on overhearing a neighbour's comment: "What on earth is that tank doing parked in the road?". That, right there, is why the Twisted Defender is probably one of the coolest cars on the road.

Looks like they actually start at £59k. Which still gets you a 2.2 diesel which reaches 60mph in about half an hour.

For the price they should put the 5.7l V8 in it.
Don't worry though, once you've hit a nosebleed-inducing 60mph, you can rely on your "Twisted by Alcon brake upgrade £3,984" to safely slow you down again. Top stuff PH.

A defender is more than capable of all those things. It just takes a little thought, time and skill.

Pastiche of a great car. Not the defender's fault it's basic, it's always been that way. Anyone remember the Lara Croft Tomb raider special? This car will no doubt be driven by some skinny jeans journo hipster.

That might well have been me. It certainly does attract attention. You do need to remember when driving it that it's very obviously sign written with all our contact details all over it...

I was in a grey Volvo S60, I beeped and gave a thumbs up like an overexcited child. About 1pm or so. Either way, it looks good.

Ah 1pm would have been Marcus on the PH sales team - I had it from Friday evening onwards.
