So you run XL tyres at a lower pressure?

I rather interpreted that thread to say that if you need to run an XL tyre you should be running it at a higher, rather than a lower pressure, compared to a non XL equivalent of the same numerical load rating. But it is a confusing picture, I have not found any reliable guidance anywhere on the internet and suspect that one would have to hear direct from the manufacturer to be sure.

I've come in for criticism; the seventeens look daft, owners say. I disagree. I think they look pretty good; not too small, and besides the brakes fill them nicely.

I think that looks fantastic - just the right combo of arch-filling to suit the design and the obvious benefits in ride comfort compared to having 18 or 19" wheels with super-low profile runflats.
