My Elise gets about 30mpg however I drive it. Less economical than the K-series engine cars, but not bad.

a45 amg - driven around 80mph on the motorway will return around 34-36mpg, driven at 70mph you get 40+ driven very hard drops to around 29mpg.

Driven enthusiastically, it's around 32mpg.

Average is 37.
