Oh and it shows as uninsured on Askmid. Presumably either in an evidence garage somewhere, or whoever bought it has burnt it...

Guess if it was a name that would increase the value it would have been named. Guessing the word celebrity has been used in it's loosest sense to drum up some extra cash.

A relatively well-known second-hand prestige dealer near where I live had a white XKR advertised on their website “as tested by Jeremy Clarkson” on Top Gear.

Strangely enough it took a long while before it sold.

Who even thought that was a good USP.

They should have put 'ragged to within an inch of it's life'

Agreed. And I suspect this how a lot of potential buyers read the add. Until someone who did not have a TV turned up to buy the car.

LOL seems like he/she's taken everyone's comments on board then biggrin

Celebrity or not what a fantastic piece of kit for someone in the market for one of these - looks like a lovely clean example from the description.

I once bought a 1 owner X5 that had 6k on the clock - the spec was like this car's £22k of extra's but the WAG didn't like it and wanted a Range Rover Sport - WAGS loss our gain hehe
