The M25 isn't a fully orbital motorway.
Excellent point, well made.

It seems like the M25 has been around longer than it has, it was only completed in 1986! (It still needs work though, should have been 4 lane all the way around).
I do recall driving on various bits of motorway before it fully opened so it has been around for longer, just not in (almost) fully orbital form.

I once drove a 1.9 205 GTi backwards into a bridge parapet at some considerable speed. Sadly it wasnt on the M25. Or in the 80s.

Hi!

I work on a television programme for Channel 4 called For the Love of Cars and we are currently looking for someone to speak on camera with our presenters about their personal experiences of driving a hot hatch on the M25 in the late 80's or early 90's.

If this was you or you know someone who might have done this please get in touch:

Ellen.stewart@loveproductions.co.uk

Thanks so much!

Ellen
going from the Metro & Huffington Post to Channel 4, someone is going up in the world!
