Does anyone living in Surrey remember the track of the a3 at tolworth before it got turned into a goals centre?
Do you mean the rather grandly-titled 'Royal Surrey Radio Controlled Car Club' who used to race every Sunday morning on a track at Sandown Park?

Or is this a different track that I didn't know about??

Anyway back in the early 90's I used to race my Kyosho Optima Mid at Sandown every Sunday morning with this club. I wonder if it is the place you are thinking of?!

Could Surrey be any more up its own arse?! (I live there now, by the way) biggrin

As a kid, the local field, or tearing around an empty Tescos car park on a sunday (remember those days!) were my limit.

Nope different track I'm afraid, we were clearly spoilt for choice in sunny Surrey!

Sorry chaps, can't see it. If full-size offroaders leave me cold (and I'm afraid to say they do), why should little ones be any different?

Of course, a 1/8 scale 911 Turbo (and of course a 1/8 scale Nordschliefe to drive it round) is a different proposition!
Some of us enjoy the engineering of all sizes of things, as much as the seat of the pants driving experience. Each to his own smile
