What is it about a white car?
Discussion
Amalfi white on the Audi A3 is free... So avoids the £500 price for metallic colours.
The only other free choices were black which depressed me and red which looked plasticky and didn't sit the body shape.
The metallic colours are mostly quite dark or variations of grey so never really appealed.
Amalfi looks great in the sun, great under street lights and not bad in the rain either. Plus it's got a creamy tinge do is s bit different to the norm.

That probably. Like Red in 2014. The graph is from the SMMT website, so it can probably be assumed to be correct.
White has it's own colour code though on the chart, but must be in with the rest.Looking at 2014, we are buying en masse a huge ton of drab aren't we. Look at all that grey drizzle. We complain about the weather, then buy the colour of the clouds. Booooo.
When I bought my Fiesta in 2008,looking at which colour to choose, was told "there are no white cars,
would have to be a factory order"
I got Tango red [metallic] for no extra cost.
IMO small cars look good in white but large cars on the whole don't.
Don't shoot me down with all your exceptions to that.
