I fear that what has now been seen cannot be unseen. That is a monstrosity.
You mean to say you've never seen an LM002 before?!

Have always loved these- anyone know the price of the tyres? If you have to ask...
Price? Good luck in finding one for sale..

Didn't this have a v12 from a Countach? No-one has mentioned that yet.
Think it was actually a Countach V12 yes

You mean apart from the article mentioning it?
Not just once, but twice in the article.
No, no-one has mentioned the Countach V12. I checked.

Love it. What a gloriously brutal piece of design.

An LM used to live outside the pub in Fontvieille Marina in Monaco for years. I never found out who owned it.

Bonkers machine.

Looks a lot like the one 'the gallery' was selling a while ago in the netherlands.
fun fact, can't remember where i read it though, this has a countach v12 up front!

See this car in action here:

http://www.rtlxl.nl/#!/rtl-autowereld-10840/25e40b...

Every time i watch the image of that rolling hulk together with the sound of them angry bees escaping at the back i get this weird feeling it's just wrong somehow haha.

It looks total dogst, sorry, it looks like it belongs in cheesy Australian Sci fi, if certain Korean manufacturers made it, it would rightly be lambasted.

The price is inflated.

This previous one was only £40k, in 2011:

About 8mpg in this thing.

Original tyres are up to £2k/corner, but you can fit cheaper ones in the wrong size.
I spoke to a guy who was a classic car dealer back in the 90's and had one for sale - he reckoned on £1500 a corner so that kind of matches what thelawnet says.

Ended up getting a set of shelf-life expired ones from (I think) Germany for a quarter the price.

I'd be impressed if a Korean manufacturer made a SUV with a Countach V12...

It's a product of its time. It looked the mutts nuts in its day and to those of us of that generation it still does.

What a proper over the top, outlandish car.

290 litre fuel tank and those tyres say it all!

I would love one.

I rememeber seeing one on a farm in Jersey at a bodyshop, suppose it must have been about 15 years ago.

Awesome truck. Would love to give it a proper off road session.

Tina Turner had one with a Mercedes V8 engine transplant.

See it here at 5.00

I like the LM (Light Military) 002 a lot more than the H1 Hummer, which with their standard GM Turbo diesels are mega slow off the mark.

The LM is not a minimal maintenance unit though like the Hummer, which was its biggest downfall (besides lousy gas mileage)

Was this pic taken in Wadebridge in Cornwall by any chance?
One of the last times i saw an LMoo2 was there about 7 years back and the owner nailed it down the highstreet making a huge noise, it was awesome!
This looks exactly like the one i remember.

Really? It's not light, it's not military and I'm pretty sure Lambo aren't an English speaking firm. wink
