RE: Shed Of The Week: Mitsuoka Viewt
Discussion
Lets be honest here. It's a piece of st.
Would I buy one? Not in a million years.
Does it make for a good Shed of the Week? Damn right! Why? Because it'll get loads of people saying how SOTW is going down hill, "I wanted a hot hatch" "What's wrong with doing a German barge" etc etc etc.
It creates discussion, which surely is what SOTW is all about?

I always thought it was about hidden gems that people might have forgotten about that you can buy for less than a grand...Would I buy one? Not in a million years.

I've seen a few Mitsuoka cars around the Brighton area, which unfortunately says a lot about the tastes of cars down here.
There used to be a Viewt down the road from me, driven by an elderly woman who's husband would be out every sunny Sunday giving it a polish and seemed to love it to bits.
Mitsuoka take a production car and change its appearance to usually take on the look of a 60's or 70's model.
The one i dislike the least ( can't honestly say the word "favourite" ) in their production line-up is the Himiko, based on an MX5 albeit with a stretched chassis.
