Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me where the hell to buy this stuff or if there is anywhere in Yorkshire I can buy it or a similar product?

They are selling this supafix stuff on Amazon but I have no account and they want a tenner! Lol.

Snapped some interior bits rebuilding the Mustang snapped plastic clips and a bit of dash facia.

Failing this I'm open to recommendations on other products that may be of use or where the hell to get mustang parts in the UK? Lol.

Err that's a copy of Q-bond.

Most motor factors round my way (Selby) sell it.

Where in Yorkshire are you?

Yeah its good stuff. I buy it from a company called FFX as they do free delivery. Its probably the cheapest to be honest.

I buy it but its hard to get hold of! I just buy it online but could do with someone around Birmingham so that I don't have to waiting a bloody day for it to bloody arrive!

Thanks for the help guys with this I'm close to Sheffield so pity I cant just pop in and buy one!

They did tell me a few places where I can though! But think I'll try FFX as it the cheapest! Lol.

X111TOM - You said you had used and purchased from FFX?

Is the stuff any good? Is Q=Bond any good? Or are they the same?

Thanks!

Yeah mate if you put in google it comes up.

I can't really comment on Q-Bond as I've never used it before.

This stuff sticks like S**t though so give it ago!

Q bond is excellent stuff I usually use it to repair headlamp brackets and motorcycle fairings.

Just had a look at Q-Bond, Looks like the same stuff actually!
My advice would be "go for the cheapest"
Saying that they look the same price anyway
Good Luck!

essentially looks like super glue, sold with some powdered metal and powdered plastic to use as filler material, wonder how much difference there would be to trying that yourself,
although £10 a kit isn't fairly cheap anyway

google suggests super glue + baking soda does a similar job

Hi Guys!

Thanks for all the replies.

I went for the Supa-fix in the end and did a grand job! Only to find my little bro already had Q-Bond! Lol £10.00 I didn't need to spend!

Oh well I've got it for next time and did the trick.

I tried the baking soda also! Don't do it! Messy and doesn't absorb the glue it just sits on the top and makes a mess which does go hard eventually but I recommend not using it! White powder everywhere!

Again many thanks Guys!

I gotta say, it's a wonderful coincidence that the supafix place that no one has ever heard of is in Sheffield and so are you!
