Are we sure the driver was a bloke? The video had all of the hallmarks of a bird at the wheel.

Haha. At least he didnt stop and hold up other traffic, though hopefully there was nothing too sharp left in the road!

Still can't decide which bit's worse, the maneuver or continuing after the crash!

Must be a very safe car to casually do things like that.

If you look up the reg on vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk, it looks like it changed owners on the 8th and wasn't taxed.

Could be a reason not to stop. That and the fact it's a K-series, so daren't stop for fear of it turning into a steam engine

So, was the steering just really bent, or was he steaming as well?
or diabetic, falling asleep?

It's certainly one of the more unusual dash videos I've seen. To have a spin on a dual carriage way and carry on like nothing has happened is rather bonkers.
I kind of see where you're coming from. Blacked out, car spins etc... all while the drivers out. Driver wakes up in car on verge, think "oh I must have blacked out and drifted onto the verge" and probably doesn't notice the front damage and then thinks "ooooh me caaaahs fooked it all owa shop". Although I'm not sure anyone would stay KO'd if you hit a barrier at that speed and if he did black out I would imagine it would be longer than a few seconds. Also, any reasonable person would pull over if their car was all over the road like that. I'm gonna go with steaming/high off his tt.

Brilliant! Nice move just carrying on with the journey! Maybe it's a regular thing for them?

Or the driver was a young lad and scaled up "falling off a bike with style/subtlety when some girls saw you do it" to a car. He just ain't care.

That's nothing , when we rallyed if you had an off and it still ran you would do your best to finish the stage even 3 wheels, one pointing the wrong way or front of car missing , better than wimping out and blocking the A 14 , st driving to have the off otherwise fine,

Given the rubbish that has been posted on the 'A90 overtake' thread I'm surprised no-one has come on to defend the Rover driver and blame the camera vehicle.
Had me wondering as well, complexity safe manoeuvre and allowed as they are wound up.

Just watched all the way. That bit at the end when he pulls back into L1 in front of that HGV. Definitely pissed up.

I've watched it 3 times now and still can't come to any better conclusion than that they were buzzing, there was no reason to drive into the barrier in the first place, they were hardly even braking. Who thought that a doggy old rover would be such a tank hehe
