That's pretty bloody close at several points. By the speed that the hazards activate on the final truck it looks like a proper emergency braking manoeuvre.
The driver does look to be slumped over the wheel at the end. Jeez.
YouTube comments by the poster claim driver arrested. Interesting.

Same here - I've never seen the A14 flow that nicely near Kettering.Worked on that stretch for a few months and amazing how much abuse I got when I was parked up in my works Focus doing "paperwork".

Another youtube commenter claims to have had a run in with the same guy moments earlier.
They did hang out in L2 unnecessarily though... I'm surprised they weren't undertaken again in the duration of the vid.
Stopping people barreling up behind the guy who hadnt saw what went on would probably be the safest thing Imho. They did hang out in L2 unnecessarily though... I'm surprised they weren't undertaken again in the duration of the vid.

For all I know they had hazards on and those behind 'saw' and understood but even so, I think they should have moved over when very clear to do so.

Genuine lol. Had an almost similar coming down from Ipswich on the A12 a couple of weeks back (Is it an East Anglian thing?). Traffic busy but still shifting at around 80 yet some turd in a small car is tailgating everyone behind me and bullying them out of the way, swings inside of me, causing others to brake hard, to overtake then swerves back into lane 2, overcooks it, hits the grass verge and brushes the central barrier, up on two wheels then veers back into lane 2 to carry on at speed up to the next car to bully.
You'd think with a close call like that, you'd calm down. He had a female passenger with him as well.
Just remembered driving up the A12, a few years back, past Ipswich late at night, road very clear and I had not one but three small Vauxhalls over a one hour period steam up behind and then swing out widely at the last sec to overtake. One lost it and went sideways, nearly taking me out, before correcting and sensibly backing off.
It wasn't if I was idling along as I was at between 0.9 and 1.0 leptons in L1.
Young dumb and full of *** and like young salmon not all of them make it. Just angers me that these idiots could easily take out a load of innocents with their behavior.
