One of the comments on YouTube from a driver that had seen him causing grief earlier.

I can't believe this video is on YouTube!!! This idiot tried to run me off the road at 90 mph about 5 minutes previously. He was literally nudging my rear bumper on the M6 fast lane (whilst giving me the finger) Immediately after he got into road rage with another young lad in a blue Golf and we all turned off onto the A14 slip road. Whilst we were queuing in traffic he was still giving this guy in the blue golf the finger, so he decided to overtake him on the grass verge before swerving in front of him and stopping. He then got out of his car and walked up to the guy in the blue golf before banging on the windows and trying to open his car door to beat him up. After he got back in his car and casually drove off. I then pulled up next to the bloke in the blue golf and asked if he was ok and he replied 'that bloke is pissed out of his head' so I started to follow him. He was all over the place narrowly missing the central reservation of a few occasions. I called the police on 2 occasions. Once before the crash and once after to give his exact location. The best bit was as drove past his wrecked car and he was getting out, I opened the passenger window, laughed out loud and called him a f****ing W****ker!! Shame he didn't kill himself in my opinion because he very nearly killed me and a few others.

I like the last bit in bold hehe

Please never hesitate to call 999 in that kind of situation - the behavior of that driver is a strong indicator that he/she is drunk or high on drugs. The original incident could have easily been a fatal one, who knows what else could have happened. If in doubt make the call.

The grey estate in the outside lane right at the start is my neighbour - our hero in the Rover was driving like an utter twunt from way back on the M6 by his account, and had repeatedly slammed on the anchors in front of my neighbour, and sat right on his arse when he managed to overtake him. He eventually put some space between himself and Rovertwunt and that's when the video continues the story!

Will statements off people like this (who've had interactions off camera) with this tosser stand up in court?

Seems like the rap against him keeps building, hardly a shocker mind.

Yes. As long as the witness is consistent, believable and reliable.

Agreed - I was surprised that the lads in the truck took so long to decide which number to call and then hadn't made the call by the end of the clip. I'd have been onto 999 immediately. He could have killed someone.

I'm thinking of keeping the passenger comments as a ring tone over Christmas ("...you got everything you fking deserve, you prick...")

Getting up to the speed he did on that stretch takes some doing, in a Rover. Determined or demented.
