MG seem to be increasing their market share quite rapidly at the moment.
However it is still ridiculously tiny (but I know that you were taking the piss!)
I ain't joking! I think if they get the design right, and the marketing too they could be onto a winner with the MG CS.However it is still ridiculously tiny (but I know that you were taking the piss!)

I'll be interested to see their 2014 sales figures as I see loads and loads of new V40s and quite a few new XC60s around. I guess they really need to start shifting metal again in the USA to grow/stay alive though.
They're the fastest growing Manufacturer on our fleet, granted it's only about 350 cars but it could be indicative. By all accounts the feedback I get from them is that they struggle with V40s but shift loads of XC60s. In fact XC60s are about the same rate as V40s on business leases at the moment because the RVs are better. The D4 engine is also very good for BIK in any of it's models.Seen our Audi majority decline and have a lot of interest in XE from traditional drivers although we're seeing big shifts from saloons to 4X4/Crossover types and the general 'no one makes a bad car anymore' mantra translating into orders from many 'lesser' manufacturers.
Having driven a lot of new product I think the long term future will see Lexus and maybe even Tesla (if they can survive the next 3-4 years) growing a lot.
I can see the 'entry level company car berk that had a BMW and now has an Audi' (i'm coining the term ELCCBTHABANHAA) progressing to the next 'fashionable' brand. I think this will either be Merc if they lower costs or possibly Lexus if they get the IS right.
Hyundai/Kia will decimate the older market who just want a box to pull their caravan (traditionally the mondeo crowd etc).
Ford will continue to be strong cause their cheap.
VW will kill off SEAT after running out of ideas what to do with them.
