Got woken up early by the cat, Mrs Mave is away, so I launched into a list of man jobs with the kids. Laid my final ton of gravel on a driveway extension and whacked it down; changed the header tank on Mrs Mave's mondeo and gave it fresh antifreeze while the kids washed it; Clayed my car and greased all the soft top linkages; washed and lubed my road bike and put on winter tyres; changed the plugs, leads and points on the camper van and tweaked the timing. Anyone else had a "last weekend before winter hits" satisfying Sunday?

Replaced broken letterbox (with PH help)
Did some ironing
Watched the F1
Arranged parents xmas pressies with sister
Played some PS4

Nothing like as productive as yours and my car really really needs a wash.

Vacuumed the van, watched the wife do some ironing, researched summer/all season/winter tyres, watched the wife prepare dinner, ate dinner , watched the wife load the dishwasher, let her finish before asking for coffee (it is Sunday after all).................

All I've discovered is all seasons are a waste of time, to summer or winter is that question !

Definitely winters for me, they were brilliant today in the rain.

Changed over to the winter wheels/tyres on my daily driver.

Then cleaned out the garage ready to put my Cayman to bed for the winter, vacuumed out all the leaves and stones from the two radiators then thoroughly washed and dried the car and parked it up for the next few months, connected the battery tender.

Measured up the garage floor to buy some 5 bar aluminium treadplate for the Porsche to sit on.

There's nothing like a good afternoon spent faffing around in the garage.

Nope... It's pissed it down all day here. Still gave me the perfect excuse to watch the GP and the rugby guilt free...

What tyres did you put on your bike?

Went to measure dodgy pothole that killed the GF's car
Went shopping for some specialist frozen stuff
Bought some new fish for the aquarium
Revised for my CFA exam for a few hours when watching the GP and most of the afternoon
Went to the GF's parents for a roast
Now having some personal time on PH in the only private place in this flat....

Waisted my Sunday having to much fun and beer last night, literally been in bed all day, annoyed with myself as I have stuff I needed to do.

Doesn't help I have been getting ear ache all day

Ha ha, non-man stuff. Quick lunch, drive to the hills, roof down. Walk in the hills, home, light fire, help boys with homework, beer to relax smile

Continental GP 4 seasons. They're 25 instead of 23, and I've dropped the pressure to 80 instead of the 110 I run on my 23mm Schwalbes. Slower, but fewer punctures smile

Slept till lunchtime, got up, watched GP. Sanded two ceilings, painted them, rubbed down a doorframe and repainted it. Cleaned up a load of uPVC trim pieces in preparation for putting them back. Surfed the web, had tea, browsed Pistonheads and here we are.......
