F1 for me is ridiculous as the engine rules command so-called coasting prior to the braking points in order to get the fuel consume right. The turbo kills the engine noise. The engines became way to expensive. All bullst.
A racing driver should be allowed to squeeze out all of the engine regardless of fuel saving. There is nothing to gain from the new rules for road cars.
And I for one don't trust the pit-crews that control the ECUs of the cars and switch between programs making the car faster or slower whatever is needed. Or whoever should be sanctionised for neglecting team orders. It's all artificial.
Bike racing is different and the riders can shine much more as they contribute maybe 80% to a victory while in F1 perhaps 20%.
Long distance racing hasn't take the route to boredom as a certain Mr Ecclestone has nothing to do with it. Thanks God!

Props to Hamilton for winning 11 races and the title - and showing grace and humility.
And ta to Merc for letting their drivers race.
For my money, Hamilton's title is worth 3 of Schumacher's cos he had a team-mate who was a) not chosen for his lack of pace, b) allowed to compete and not contractually-bound to be a subservient no-2.
