Dacia Sandero. The proper basic one.
Discussion
Well anyone got one/driven one?
I want a car to leave at the station, chuck the muddy dog in, let my mum drive , leave overnight in nottingham
Seems perfect. No alloys to nick no stereo to nick. 6k new.
Checking autotrader not a single used bare bones model for sale.
Surely they must have sold at least one of the very basic ones.

Out of interest, why both getting a new car for even £6k if you want to treat it like a £500 car?
Genuinely interested, no offence meant
Valid point. I'd prefer nearly new to be honest. Warranty/no rust ( for a few years). Plan to run it into the ground. My mum won't drive a 500 quid shed. But a 15 plate...Genuinely interested, no offence meant

Reliability, will start when he needs it, working heater, cheap available parts if anything breaks, cheap to insure and run. Probably.
Perhaps, but reliability can be sought for bargain prices, still. As with new and nearly new cars, warranties don't guarantee reliability - only zero financial outlay should it fail.
They often still involve tiring trips to the dealers, being let down and so on.
A Dacia is just a cheap Renault, is it not?
