Remote controls on the steering wheel. Apparently it doesn't "because racecar!".
Which is bloody stupid, because since when did not having to take your hands off the wheel to adjust the volume, skip a music track, or pickup a phone call in any way detract from the driving experience?

Heated windscreen - miss that feature off my old Focus.
Blowers that clear the drivers side as quick as the passengers side, I dislike having to drive like Ace Ventura in the cold/rain.
Rear wiper - not being able to get above 30 on my commute to work means I cant see a thing out of the rear window unless its a really windy day. using just the demister takes forever to clear the frost/rain completely to see.

CUP HOLDERS!! who the fk thought it wise to offer a completely useless storage tray over a cup holder needs skewering with a hot poker! and the prick who chose that over a cup holder!

Better lumbar support.

Traction Control that can actually be turned off and not just dumbed down.

Remote locking! It is a really weird omission I must say.

I'd love to have air conditioned seats, I'd find them far more useful than the heated units that are fitted.

If I was properly pushed I'd like sat-nav but, in reality, for the 3 times a year I actually use it a clip on the screen is fine.

If it's been raining, opening the boot means whatever is in there will be getting wet. A feature which prevented that would be nice. mad
The feature in question is called - an estate car
Is it too much to ask that a hatchback includes a similar ability?

Cup holders. Neither the Rover or the TVR have them. A PITA when on a long journey as I tend to drink a lot.
Arm rest in the Rover. When on long journeys I tend to hold the gear stick and rest my arm on there.
Clutch rest. Not as annoying as the others but it would be nice

My car has just about everything I could possibly need or want; heated, partly electric seats, sat nav, access to the internet(never actually used it buts it's there).

However my last 3 cars if held the unlock button the windows opened, they shut when if you hold the lock button, this new one doesn't

Also would like a slightly bigger sat nav screen, air conditioned seats and a power opening boot, this one just swings up all the way, convenient but not elegant.

I'd also like parking sensors that work properly, they don't beep until you're about to hit something then it screams, a display that shows how close you are would be nice too, the BMW had one, the Mercedes doesn't. I can park by the way, It's just helpful.

And a panoramic sunroof, the look very good with a panoramic sunroof.

It would also be good if it could tell me my MPG, rather than a confusing diagram of charts, all I know is it's good on fuel, I don't know how good though.

Ventilated seats - had them before, lovely in the summer.

Radar adaptive cruise - had this as well and really miss it, superb in traffic

Three pin plug - was an option for a short period on the Insignia, not now. What a bonus, just plug anything straight in.

A Stereo that doesn't turn itself on a bit too loud even if you switched it off last time you were in the car.
A Stereo that doesn't increase the volume of the traffic report when you turn up the music, and then leaves it at "Rockin out" volume even after you have turned the music back down ( I've nearly bloody crashed because of Sharon Sandell of BBC Radio Leicester at Jet engine in the back seat volume)
A Stereo that takes less than a year to fathom out where everything is.
Yes AUDI/SEAT RNS-E, I'm looking at you.
