Who's going to be the first to get their car painted with this stuff?

Wonder if any sponsors on LM24 cars might be interested wink

Wow eek Wasn't overly impressed at first, but when they start lighting up individual bits it looks incredible.

hmm wonder how big/small a dot of paint needs to be. You could turn the entire vehicle into a dot-matrix display.

All that tech and then paint the side of the car like a Greco Roman Balcony ?

Would love to see how it works.

Suitably impressed. I wonder if this tech will make an appearance in an upcoming Fast and Furious film...

It would be pretty cool if a police car could switch between marked and unmarked...

The first and most important thing that I always ask when some funky new paint turns up is; How long does it last?

I'm not spending thousands painting my car for something that turns to crap after a year.

'Electroluminescent lamps do not burn out, per se. Over time, they will become less bright, and the duration of the brightness is measured in a “half life” which is the time it takes to degrade to 50% of maximum brightness.

The life of the coating depends on the LumiColor™ selected, and the frequency and voltage at which LumiLor™ is driven.

Note that LumiLor™ will only degrade under power, and that charging and discharging it does not impact the life – only the total hours lit matters.'

It last forever if you don't use it hehe
