RE: PistonHeads and Tyre Giant

Hi Travis
Am I right in thinking that I cant get (front) Michelin PSS for my Rapide only rears - shame as it only took me two months to decide on these! Sizes are: 245/40R20 Y 95 REAR 295/35R20 Y 105.
The Aston 'AM9' approved OE Bridgestones are around but maybe the Pirellis might be better?
Anyway can you kindly PM me some prices and assurances that the fitters will know where to jack up my funnily constructed car without indentations in footwells!
Cheers
KF

Afternoon Pistonheads,
Apologies for the delay getting back on to the forum - booked a last minute holiday (mountains - no connection) and only got back last night. Back now and will get some PMs out to those that have PMd me while I have been away.
Bear with me while I get myself sorted
Cheers

Right - one by on e as usual
Ken - realy sorry for taking so long to come back to you - poor form. I have asked one of the tech guys for an answer and will feedback as soon as I have it, though suspect you are rght regarding the PSSs.
stevesingo - We only have a couple of choices at that size/speed http://pistonheads.tyregiant.com/225-45-16 of those we have I would go for the Marshal (made by Kumho) which is actually a pretty good, much underrated tyre... Let me know if you want some and I'll try and get a good discount for you
scdan4 - can you PM or post your order ref from your confirmation email and I'll take a look
TooMany2cvs - D'oh - really wish I could have got them for you Most of our lower priced competitors are established businesses in eastern Europe and get supply/prices for that market, move the tyres over to the UK and undercut (and kill) the market for us UK businesses. No problem for the consumer except the logistics are obviously more complex for them which can result in this sort of thing happening. I hope I can help next time
Thrugglevalve - Apologies also to you for the late reply - I have your PM and have passed on the request to the buyers - at the moment I don't think we have any N1 rated tyres for you, but we are going to have a look and see what we can source. I'll get back to you when I know more
Cheers

Travis - thanks for the response - have found out since that you can get the front PSS in an XL. Stiffer sidewalls I guess...will it make much difference I wonder? I can also get the AMR approved tyres for £850 fitted so that is pretty tempting and lets face it maybe only Hamilton would know the difference on the run to see my Mum! ;-) Cheers
Morning All!
Confession time - I went skiing again, last minute, hence no replies - apologies to those waiting, PMs going out to Ian_sUK and Viper this morning, along with replies to all the PMs I have recieved - hopefully will be able to do some good prices
tobinen - Apologies if you haven't been able to find your tyre size, but appreciate the compliment about the site none-the-less - post or PM me the size you are after and I will do my best to source what you need.
Cheers all,
Travis
