Any discount codes yet?

Just about to 'pull the trigger' ( rofl ) on some for my wife's 1 Series and if there's a discount to be had?

Afternoon. Wondering what you would recommend for 215/45 r17 for my Impreza. Currently have some Michelin primacy, and some continental contact sport 3. Need a full set and open to any recommendations.

Thanks. Tim

Travis,

Hi, I'm looking for front tyres for my 944 - size 215/55R16. (Your website says that all the tyres on the car are the same size, although this isn't correct as they are larger on the back.) I have had the Falken ZE914's before and would like another set.

How much would you be able to supply and fit them for? I'm in London. TyreLeader say they can supply me with a pair for a few pence under £100, although this doesn't include fitting. Event tyres say £124, including fitting.

Thanks,

Oli.

Lord Grover - Apologies you got bumped. I can't ask why at the moment as Customer Services have gone home, but will try to get clarity for you tomorrow. I expect it will be that you are geographically distant from the warehouse that had your tyres and we couldn't shift them to your fitter quickly enough to guarantee your chosen slot. This happens sometimes if we have low stock, and the stock we do have is in only one depot... 500000 tyres at anyone time is quite the logistics exercise, but I still find these occurrences frustrating, because I know you do too. I will have a look at your order and see if I can discount it for your trouble.

I have just used you guys for 4 Bridgestone's for my Octavia - By far the cheapest price I could find, turned up at the fitting centre, and was out within the hour.

Great service and great price.

Cheers,

Andy

Good Evening Pistonheads!

One by one as usual smile

Civic Duty & Adrian E - Thanks for the feedback. The reg plat elook up is provided by Experian (at considerable cost) so it is really frustrating that it has dropped the ball for you guys... We have around 10k visitors to our tyre sites daily that use that look up and thankfully the complaints about it are few, but it is supposed to be completely reliable in all but recent private reg changes. I will raise this with them again and let you know if they give me any feedback worthwhile - though after the last time I raised this I won't be holding out much hope - anyone know of an alternative source of VRM data?

Fivepointnine - Glad to hear - thanks for the business smile

Butterface - OMG sorry we have been dragging our heels for you. Will sedn you a PM shortly!

MrE - You should have had a PM from one of the CS guys. We spoke with Michelin and they gave us a MPSS prodcution roll out date of March 31st... Anthony will follow up with you when you have had chance to read your emails smile

TJE - Sport Contact 3s are great tyres. I will price up a set and PM you smile

Zcacogp - Really sorry but we don't carry Falkens frown I can recommend similar if you are amenable to other choices?

Nadger - PM sent smile

Lord Grover - Glad it got to you in the end smile

lemonslap - Gonna price these up, but suspect you are looking at March 31st for the next production run, or you'll be getting old stock... Will PM you in the am smile

Andynetwork - Great to hear - thanks very much for the feedback smile

Cheers all

Travis

PS - I'm gonna do a give away raffle style in GG at some point soon - a set of two tyres free fully fitted smile watch this space - tell your friends etc wink

Butterface - Right I've had a look - I have the OE Fitment Continental Sport Contact 3s in Run Flat. Personally I would ditch the run flats as I think they make the car a bit of a nightmare. I changed off of RFs in my 530d and it made a huge difference to ride quality and handling - your call though obviously. I also have the Sport Contact 3s in non RF. I would go for these unless you have a different tyre in mind? Can you let me know the load rating you need for your model please - will be either 84v or 84w I expect. once I know what you prefer I'll drop you a PM with the prices smile

Cheers

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, OK, if you have any suggestions then let me know. The Falkens seemed to work well on the 944; good grip in the dry and wet but a notably but progressive breakaway which I particularly liked. And they seemed a very good price for what you got too.

Thanks!

Oli.

Had a mail from Anthony regarding conti 3's, unfortunately he was unable to match one of your competitors. He didn't mention options on Pilot Sports.

Thanks. Looks like Marshall are the poverty-version of Kumho, non?

I'll take you up on your offer, thank you. But the XM KH35 seems to do better in reviews (and the tread pattern looks sexier smile ) - how much more would a set of those be instead of the FX MU11's?

How do I go about booking it? Through your website or by arrangement directly with you?
