Hi Travis
Wondering what you would recommend for 215/45 r17 for my old Impreza?
Need a full set of 4 and open to any recommendations as I know nothing about tyres.
Thanks. neil
I would recommend either Michelin Pilot Sport 3's, or Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's. Wondering what you would recommend for 215/45 r17 for my old Impreza?

Had both on the car, and they're both amazing tyres. The Hankook's cost me about £90 a tyre fitted (not through here, just before I found out)
Hmmmm, so on Monday I ordered 4 tyres and booked in at my local fitter for tomorrow.
Ring up today to check that they're expecting me, to find that only three of the tyres have arrived (a fourth came but is different).
Fitter checks for me, and is told there is a 'shortage' of these tyres, yet Tyre Giant website is still telling me that 9 are still available in my size. (Said 16 when I ordered)
So no new tyres for me tomorrow. Unimpressed so far.

Morning all,
Apologies for absence lately, I have been in New York much of the last two weeks - left all my tech in the basket at the security, realised as I sat down on the plane
Back now, will go through PMs and posts here through today - should have everyone answered by COP.
thismonkeyhere - I am gutted to hear about your experience, that is a poor show. Please PM me your order reference and I will find out what has gone on and and make things right for you.
Cheers

Hi, looking for some tyres for a BMW 318d, it has run flats but it isn't clear whether the tyres that came up in the search are the correct (run flat) ones, reg number is LB12 VXH if that helps and they're 225/45/18 F+R.
Would love to ditch the runflats obviously but it's not strictly my car so have to keep them!

Just got the bad news my shed needs four tyres so been looking around and wondering why no one seems to do filters on the fuel and wet ratings. Then I find this thread. And you list my old tyre place as a fitter as well.
I used to love Toyo Proxis on my Fiat Coupé but times have been tough and I now need some 195/60 15 for my Avensis - I really need to spend less than £50 a corner and was wondering about the BCT S600 or ES9000? Are these any good? I'm wary of makes I've not heard of but can't afford the ones I know! To be honest I need cheap with decent wet and fuel ratings.
a discount code would be nice as well! :-)
