Thanks - will send my mate one to check. Great referral to tyreleader earlier - will go there as a lot cheaper for my son's car. Will give tyregiant a try in the future but Oponeo and now tyreleader seem to be ahead at the moment for me.

Just to add to my previous links, for anyone looking for track tyres the cheapest in the UK for Yokohama tends to be George Polley motorsport for A048's etc

Afternoon gentlemen,

356Speedster - Great smile

SonicShadow - Thanks for the advice smile Got some prices for you and the MR2 drivers you mention if they are interested:

225/45WR16 YOKOHAMA NEOVA AD08R 89W £120 fully fitted
225/45ZR16 CONTI SPORTCONT 2 £117 fully fitted

No joy on the Toyos as yet, but as mentioned above a couple of times, they will be inbound once we have met with Toyo over the next few weeks smile

As an alternative to the Kumhos, for those on a budget we have 225/45ZR16 MARSHAL KH35 89W £88.88 fully fitted which are produced by Kumho and are a sound product.

Adrian E - Thanks for letting me know - looks like Experian have some work to do... we have started to record the VRMs that fire a not found message to feed back to them in due course.

Will look into the MPSSs for you and come back with a price and likely lead time.

Roy m - Sorry about the PM - I have had a couple come through but not one from you... Could you post your requirements here please and I'll get on it quick.

Ref the better prices form Oponeo et al, no worries, but if you let me know what you need I will beat their price provided I can get the tyres you are after. As RC1 said on here earlier: make me your final call once you have found your best price - then I'll beat it wink

Rallycross - I have been chatting with the guys about trackday tyres... We can source a lot of them pretty quick. I'm happy to have a look and see if I can get a keen price on anything you might need. Let me know smile

Thanks all,

Travis

Thanks - 205 50 17's but they were a distress purchase for my son so ordered now. Would like to see a way to check stock of different sizes of same make on your site (front and rear of the 911)

Hi Roy M.

Interesting point about seeing tyres for two axels where the tyres are different.

We probably couldn't do this all on one screen as it would A. get a bit unweildly on some sizes and B possibly a bit ambiguous as many tyres will be duped on the screen with only the size text to differentiate them... However...
What we could do is tab the top of the results with 'Front' and 'Rear' tabs that you could quickly flick between.

What do you think?

Cheers

Travis

Is TyreGiant only focusing on performance tyres? Trying to get tyres for wife's CRV and price was higher than Halfords Autocentre when fully fitted!

I did my quote on Michelin Energy savers, so I don't think so at all.

Specifically which tyres were you looking at?

The prices look good. Tyres for my car were 40p dearer from you but delivery was cheaper. My OH's car had a similar price difference.

Evening Gents,

Apologies for no replies this afternoon, but have just been out and bought an 04 plate X3. 5 minutes out of the garages the woes began with warning lights and screaming noise from the right front. The dealer was less than cooperative, so a battle for tomorrow!

Anyway enough of that!

progers - In fact we have previously been more focused on tyres for the masses than niche performance - part of what I hope to bring to PH is to develop the lines that people on here want to see.

With regard to being more expensive the HAC - that is not all that common. THe problem we have is that we have a good half a dozen competitors and around about 14000 product lines to reprice against the competitors daily, often twice daily. No mean feat! Ultimately the best we can hope for is to have a overall lowest price across the board, meaning we are not the best for some, some of the time. However, I will reiterate - I will beat any competitor online for the PH audience. Let me know what you are after and I'll beat the HAC price, you can even have them fitted at HAC if you want as they are our number one fitter partner! smile (they love us really wink)

CraigyMc - thanks for the vote of confidence smile when you want some tyres drop me a line on here and I'll see what I can do smile

willredale - Brilliant! We went for a cheap, standard delivery charge on mail order (free when bought fully fitted) as none of us here like finding the 'best price' on a site only to find at the end of the buying process that with delivery someone else is cheaper. Glad it has worked out for you smile

Right, off to do some late night shopping in the screaming X3 biggrin

Cheers

Travis

Hi RCBRG,

Whats the car and what sort of driving do you do?

We have PS3s at circa £140 fully fitted... We have a good selection of premiums at that size:

Price please on both 225/45/17 and 235/45/17 on Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2's (£72 to beat), Bridgestone RE070's (£69.85 to beat) and Nexen N8000's (£48.75 to beat) for delivered (+£12 for set of 4). Also interested in the fitted price if that's easy to calculate the extra on.

I need a full set of 4 if that helps on a deal? And need to order within the next week. Also interested in anything else you can do a special price on that might suit a daily driver Impreza STI.

Many thanks,

Andy

It's a megane R26. Tyre leader are doing them for about £117 delivered. After fitting costs that's still going to be cheaper unfortunately

Right sat at my desk after booking in the X3 for a health check [he writes nervously]

RCBRG - Exceptionally good price there - how many are you buying? and would you prefer them to be home delivered or do you actually want them fitted?... If the latter let me know how much you pay for the fitting and I'll drop our fully fitted price for you.

AndySpecD - Can you let me know where you are getting the prices from please? Will look into other brands available for you in the meantime.

Cheers

Travis

Hi AndySpecD,

Have looked over our prices and can beat the £72 on the GYs. Can you PM me so we can arrange a discount voucher on the site to get you the price?

Cheers

Travis

PS - Let me know on here you've sent the PM please as a couple have gone missing over the past couple of days.
