Quiet a departure in terms of tread pattern from the old one.

One side is almost the same! I presume this pattern is designed to meet new EU standards?

Them now being sided is a right pain. I used to swap mine side to side to even up any wear due to camber and toe.

Where did you hear that?

Technically this is the R888-R, the R888 will still be made for a while.

Nooooo frown

I love my soft compound R888s. What a difference they make on the fun car. Just excellent.

My S2 Exige used Yoko AO48's that were similar. Very, very sticky but used to cost a fortune as they were a specifc compound which Lotus owned the rights to so no significate discounts.

You would be doing well to ger 3K miles out of the rears as well.

Which will be the inner side?
if it's the leftmost in the pic, it looks like there's a lot more rubber on the road with higher camber angles...

Hoping that they are directional as the current R-888

ETA to correct left with right... I'm still learning

And a Westfield by the looks of his garage... but slicks on the Passat will 'transform the car'!
