I'm only 24, so forgive me for sounding old before my time.

But over 50mpg from a hot hatch is quite impressive.

As above a dull little car, i feel Peugeot have really missed out on this one, could have made it more of a hot hatch but would it sell with less weight, more power, less bks inside that go wrong (french electrics are only supposed to work 98% of the time)

I'd be interested to know if those saying this is a dull car is just based on looks. if they are saying this having actually driven a Peugeot 208 GTI, then I'd be hire surprised. French care have come a long way in recent years, it's a bit of a stretch to suggest the electrics are still as bad now as they were in the early 90s.

Nice little car and I like the bottom lip paint.

What is the 4th pedal? A foot rest? Looks awkward and uncomfortable.

I've a 1.9 in the Shed.
But I'd buy a Fiesta St...
Exactly the same here, there's a 1.9 sitting outside my house and I'd take the ST, as its such a corking car for the money...BUT credit where credit's due, this is Peugeots first proper GTI since 2000....its a start....just needs to be a bit cheaper!

Don't worry, I'm 27 and that's what I was thinking...125 co/2 as well.

Was laughing @ 3.52 in the video. I know it was greasy but I've not seen a FWD car handle like that. I could never get my Megane 250 to do anything like that.

shame it looks so bland, 205 is a legend now but this won't be.

Great to see Peugeot back up there! It's a shame that everything they do is compared back to the 205 though because it'll never be bettered

I think we should celebrate that this appears to be a step in the right direction. Someone may have to pick up the baton from Renaultsport in this segment!

Go out on a greasy track with coldish tyres and it'll step out:

Even more so if you brim the fuel tank on one they get very eager to swap ends.

It's amazing to think that something like this would annihilate even such revered machinery as say a Ferrari Dino from yesteryear.

To be fair, a 205 GTI would give a Dino a run for its money!

I feel it is a cracking car. If you think this is dull, then anything else would be. It doesn't weigh that much to start with, and a 0-60 time of 6.5 secs is very quick; quicker than a mk5 Golf GTI.
