RE: Peugeot 208 GTI 30th: Review
Discussion
I'd be interested to know if those saying this is a dull car is just based on looks. if they are saying this having actually driven a Peugeot 208 GTI, then I'd be hire surprised. French care have come a long way in recent years, it's a bit of a stretch to suggest the electrics are still as bad now as they were in the early 90s.

I've a 1.9 in the Shed.
But I'd buy a Fiesta St...
Exactly the same here, there's a 1.9 sitting outside my house and I'd take the ST, as its such a corking car for the money...BUT credit where credit's due, this is Peugeots first proper GTI since 2000....its a start....just needs to be a bit cheaper! But I'd buy a Fiesta St...

I'm only 24, so forgive me for sounding old before my time.
But over 50mpg from a hot hatch is quite impressive.
Don't worry, I'm 27 and that's what I was thinking...125 co/2 as well.But over 50mpg from a hot hatch is quite impressive.
Was laughing @ 3.52 in the video. I know it was greasy but I've not seen a FWD car handle like that. I could never get my Megane 250 to do anything like that.

Even more so if you brim the fuel tank on one they get very eager to swap ends.
I feel it is a cracking car. If you think this is dull, then anything else would be. It doesn't weigh that much to start with, and a 0-60 time of 6.5 secs is very quick; quicker than a mk5 Golf GTI.

As above a dull little car, i feel Peugeot have really missed out on this one, could have made it more of a hot hatch but would it sell with less weight, more power, less bks inside that go wrong (french electrics are only supposed to work 98% of the time)
