Some decent wheels and lose the tacky DTM exhaust and I'd like that a lot.
What wheels would you put on? RS four spokes? Ghia alloys?I'm not sure about the lack of rear door handles. Some low level single roof rails may work? I just checked the Passat GL5 roof rails but they have two bars as I seem to remember the 80s Granada roof rails being.
If not them specifically then maybe something similar. OZ rally?
Mark 4/5 Cortina ghia alloys

A great sounding engine - it didn't have the best front end and lit up the tyres with little provocation (possibly the fault of the rubber).

It was a great engine, but as you say the traction wasn't really up to the power, especially on a wet B road with a stone bridge in close proximity.
