I know they are sometimes advertised for around 10 grand, but I don't think they actually sell for that sort of money - Most of the completed eBay listings that seem to be changing hands for 5-6k?
I've often struggled to believe they sell for anything like the advertised prices. The market for a decade old, relatively slow, very thirsty, orphaned car of highly dubious image is a minuscule one. I suspect the £10k adverts are a result of the echo chamber of owners forums. I keep thinking I'd like one, but I am also sure I'd feel bitter about my 18mpg ever time a BMW 330d made a mockery of my performance car.mx5ian said:
