Perfect quirky short range commuter toy and pop-up-lights FTW.
So much want for that car. My parents had a succession of 480's when I'd just passed my test. Dad had a black turbo, then mum had a purple 2.0 n/a. I seem to remember a white turbo too, but that didn't stay in the fleet long.
Some great cars posted lately.
Liking that one, hatchback run around thats pretty nippy and funky.
And agree the clincher is popups "FTW" laugh
On my list of 'cars I always wanted but never got round to owning'. That's a very clean example, cheap motoring!

Love these. I'd rather have one than an M3 any day. Not many about in good nick alas...
I like that a lot but I suspect if any Alpina specific parts needed replacing it would cost more than the car was worth.

This is supposed to be the £0-5K thread isn't it?

Posting cars which have just started their eBay auction but will which obviously exceed the £5K limit later on isn't really in the spirit of the thread.
WOW.........

Well obviously a 2004 MG ZT V8 should sell for around £10,000 but if you check below it went for £4,100.

You can never tell what a car will sell for and if it is well below £5k I can't see what the problem is???

Depending on the Clio Trophy's reserve it could well sell for under £5,000 as it needs work.

If I was to have your attitude I would never buy cars off eBay.
Why should a 12 year old ZT V8 sell for 10k?

Presumably based on experience / history of what similar cars have sold for / are up for sale

Nice Toyota! I like the colour combo too. You got that for under thread budget? If so that's a bargain and you'll know just how well that will last.

Mileage and price ?

A mate bought a very nice one for circa £9k then spent around the same modifying it for off road and now it looks very "used"

She's on 211km has passed every mot from 2004 with the same advisory, a windscreen chip hehe tyres & droplink bushes each once.

It was somewhat less than the budget for this thread wink in fact enough to go & buy something else that this thread might throw up.

It was a bargain thumbup

IMHO you'd have to be mad to spend 10k on an MG ZT, V8 or not.

Sub 20,000 mile Skoda Estelle!

I know these were the butt of many jokes before Skoda came under the VAG umbrella and improved massively, but I've a soft spot for their East European quirkiness. Never seen driven by anyone under 60 in my neighbourhood, the Honda Jazz of their time!

Love that.

Sounds like a steal too.

Loon - that 164 cloverleaf = lick Still remember the chief using his company car (E28 528i) to blag a TD in one and the EPIC noise it made. He discounted it due to FWD (he was into Alfa's like the Berlina and the Giulia GTV) but was impressed smile Next stop was an E32 730i, which he kept heh.

That has aged really well, still a very handsome car. Always loved the dashboard on these too.

Remember these well. My father worked at a Skoda dealership and went in many of these. Hateful cars but the one redeeming feature was you could drift them in the wet at roundabouts at about 15mph.
