I hate people carriers. But I'm still a little bit tempted by this one. Sharan VR6 would make a splendid dog-carrier, and retro in a Tony Blair, Millennium Dome kind of way.

I had the v6 in a brand new Galaxy for a few months in 2004. Great laugh!

I'm sure I read a story in a car magazine back in the day about a rally crew or similar sitting at a constant 135mph for many miles, loaded with spares and people. That was either the Galaxy or Sharan V6. Always had a soft spot for them since reading that.

Might have to head to youtube and see if anyone has added a fruity exhaust smile

Absolutely. Not the last word in cool, but looks to be a solid example. Can't help thinking it would be worth a lot more once back in the Fatherland.

Looks like the vendor may be getting it fixed and MoTd so price may be above £4K then.

Might consider this or similar as a daily.
It has been for sale for a while.

Bloke gives it to body shop, says "fix this", hands them the list, body shop runs late (they all do) and wants it out the door to get on to the next customer
